Silver Needle tea is rare tea consists of only singular young tender buds picked in Spring . Only the finest leaves are plucked in their pre-open phase and then manufactured with a very short fermentation time and a long, slow drying process. Consisting of the most tender, down covered buds, this tea is only picked for a few days out of the year and is highly sought out. Tea brewed from these buds have a pale yellow hue with a light honey-sweet scent. Its taste is delicate with a clean mellow sweetness. The aftertaste is fresh.
